Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Requirements Analysis & Solution Definition:
• - Analyse business requirements gathered by BAs and stakeholders to identify system impacts, dependencies, risks, and feasibility. Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, including API/Data Process flows, data mappings, validation rules, and Support Guides (BCP, Table-Top).
• 2. Functional & Technical Documentation:
• - Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation for integration touchpoints (internal and external systems) and non-functional requirements (performance, security, auditability) using standard templates.
• 3. BA & UI/UX Collaboration:
• - Ensure Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Use Cases, and Test Scenarios align with project objectives. Agree on clear user journeys and exceptional workflows before UI/UX design.
• 4. Development Team Collaboration:
• - Work closely with software developers to clarify requirements, answer technical questions, validate proposed solutions, participate in design discussions, and ensure systems meet architectural standards.
• 5. Testing & Solution Validation:
• - Support test planning by defining test scenarios, cases, and acceptance criteria.
• - Actively support UAT by clarifying outcomes, assisting users in defect validation, analysing root causes, and verifying solutions before sign-off.
• 6. Implementation & Post-Go-Live Support:
• - Assist in deployment activities, release validation, and post-implementation checks.
• - Support the transition to Operations and Support teams via functional walkthroughs, user guides, knowledge transfers, and Table-top Exercises.
• 7. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
• - Act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and support teams.
• - Facilitate requirement clarification sessions and communicate professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders remotely and onsite.

Requirements

• What we're looking for:
• 1. Technical & Analytical Skills
• - Strong understanding of system design concepts, databases, data structures, application integrations, and APIs.
• - Experience integrating in-house systems with external platforms.
• - Ability to analyse complex business processes, translate them into logical system requirements, and read source code created by other developers.
• - Experience working with enterprise systems, multi-system environments, writing TSDs, interpreting FSDs, and managing projects end-to-end.
• 2. Functional & Collaboration Skills
• - Proven experience producing high-quality functional specifications and system documentation with strong logical thinking and attention to detail.
• - Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• - Able to work independently and collaborate comfortably in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments remotely and onsite.
• Education & Experience
• - Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• - 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Application Analyst, or Developer with proven project management exposure.
• - Experience in retail, payments, POS, or enterprise systems (Preferred).
• - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and cloud platforms (Preferred).
• - Vendor management and project leadership experience (Preferred).
• - Strong foundation in SQL & NoSQL databases, programming logic, APIs, system architecture concepts, and cloud fundamentals.
